dc.description.abstractIPS is gabuangan social sciences are integrated or unified. Integrated understanding, that the material or material taken from social science social sciences are combined and not separate disciplines in the box. Student activities during IPS classes tend to sit still and not active as indicated by the talking himself among friends bench, less passionate and do not want to engage in learning activities. Students less active in participating in learning because teachers in giving lessons are often used method of lectures and student assignments and rarely using the method of discussion. Cooperative approach to learning through the bamboo dance technique is a cooperative learning technique that uses the students themselves as a medium for student interaction patterns in the study group, these techniques on bamboo dance named because the students were lined up and facing each other. The results of this research is to improve learning outcomes and social science subjects know the completeness of class V students in odd 2 Sepanjang Elementary School the academic year 2009-2010.
