HUBUNGAN ANTARA SANITASI RUMAH DAN HIGIENE PERORANGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE (STUDI DI KELURAHAN KAMPUNG MANDAR KECAMATAM BANYUWANGI KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI )

Abstract

House needs standarization of sanitation, and completed with some supporting facilities to avoid the people from the disease, beside considering house sanitation, they also has to considen about personal hygiene. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relation between house sanitation and personal hygiene with an accurrence of diarrhea in Village of Mandar Sub District of Banyuwangi Sub Province of Banyuwangi. This is analytical research with cross sectional approach. The data was obtained by an interview, using the questionnaire. An interview was conducted at 89 responder which consist of house wife. The responder was taken from the population using proportional random sampling method. The data was analyzed and tested by using Regresi Logistik. The result of test between house sanitation with an occurrence of diarrhea is p = 0.0001 with 95% of significant level (a = 0.05), so that p < 0.05, meaning that there is a significant relation between house sanitation with an occurrence of diarrhea is while the result of test between personal hygiene with an occurrence of diarrhea is p = 0.000 with 95% of significant level (a = 0.05), so that p < 0.05 meaning that there is a significant relation between personal hygiene with an occurrence of diarrhea, so its expected to improv the counselling frequences about the importance of the availability of house sanitation and personal hygiene and to avoid diarrhea it is needed to have a better house, sanitation which includes : source of clean water, toilet of family, aqueduct, and garbage followed by personal hygiene.
