FAKTOR RISIKO PEMAKAIAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI ORAL, MEROKOK, DAN KARAKTERISTIK PENDERITA TERHADAP KEJADIAN KANKER LEHER RAHIM DI RSD DR. SOEBANDI JEMBER
Abstract
Background: Cervical cancer is the most common of cancer for women. There are
many risk factors involved in the etiology of cancer. This research explained some
risk factors such as the use of oral contraception, smoking, and patient
characteristics.
Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze risk factors of using oral
contraception, smoking, and patient characteristics in to incidence cervical cancer in
dr. Soebandi Jember Hospital
Method: This research is an analytic observational by using cross sectional study
design. The population in this study were patients from gynecology clinic in dr.
Soebandi Jember Hospita. There were 60 patients of gynecology clinic that involved
in this study. This research was analyzed using bivariable analysis using Chi-square
test with significance level α =0,05.
Result: Using oral contraception, duration of oral contraception that use more than
4 years, knowledge, and personal hygiene are risk factors which associated
significantly. On the contrary, the risk factors are not significant are smoking and
economic status.
Conclution: prevention efforts that can be done by dr. Soebandi Jember Hospital are
increasing promotion effort in the term of health about risk factor of cervical cancer
with using oral contraception more than 4 years, health consultation before
contraception using,and sexual hygiene to patient
