PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN IBU, PELAYANAN KESEHATAN DAN KESAKITAN BAYI TERHADAP KEMATIAN BAYI DI KECAMATAN SUKOWONO KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

Infant mortality rate was reflection the public health statue. An advanced of infant mortality rate was the sign from the low statues of public health. Infant mortality rate was not only to reflect the public socioeconomic’s development. The purpose of this research was knowed influence of mother’s education, health service and infant morbidity to infant mortality. This research is an analytical research with cross sectional approach. Data gathering by interview with questioner to 50 mother who has baby was death at 2006 on subdistrict Sukowono district Jember. This research make path analysis to analyse the data. The results showed that mother’s education was influence to infant morbidity, public service wasn’t influence to infant morbidity, mother’s education was influence to infant mortality, health service wasn’t influence to infant mortality, and the last that infant morbidity was influence to infant mortality.
