PENGARUH TINGKAT KONSUMSI DAN STATUS GIZI TERHADAP TUMBUH KEMBANG ANAK USIA 2-5 TAHUN (Studi di Desa Suco Kecamatan Mumbulsari Kabupaten Jember)
Abstract
In infancy period, the process of growth is develop rapidly. To achieve the optimal
growth, a child needs all the micro nutrients and substances that appropriate with the
number of the needs. Malnutrition in growth developing under five grown children
will cause disruption of the growing process. The purpose of this study is to analyze
the influence of consumption level and nutritional status on children growth and
development at aged 2-5 years Suco Rural Village Mumbulsari Sub District Jember
Regency. This research is an analytic observational by using cross sectional study
design. The samples in this study were 65 children aged 2-5 years whom were the
resident of Suco Village Mumbulsari District. This research was analyzed using
Ordinal Regression test with significance level =0,05. The research prove that
energy consumption levels ,protein level intake and nutritional status affects the
growth and development of children aged 2-5 years. While the rate of carbohydrate
consumption and fat consumption had no effect on child growth aged 2-5 years. The
improvement of the food quality and quantity for the nutritional status of children will
be better. Stimulate and habituate children with developmental tasks that appropriate
with their age.
