HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP, DAN KETERSEDIAAN SARANA PENYULUHAN DENGAN TINDAKAN KADER POSYANDU DALAM PENYULUHAN DI MEJA 4 PADA POSYANDU DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SUMBERSARI JEMBER

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) in Jember changes in the last five years. Sumbersari Health Center is the highest Maternal Mortality Rate in 2010. One contributing factor is the lack of knowledge and extension activities are carried out. Therefore cadre who served at the table extension has an important role in improving the knowledge objectives in order to reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate. This research is a type of quantitative research and analytics with cross sectional approach. The study population is a whole cadre who served in table 4 and obtained the study sample as many as 50 people. The resulting data were analyzed using Spearman correlation test with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that there is a relationship between knowledge with counseling actions in table 4, and p value = 0.0001. There is a relationship between attitudes with counseling actions in table 4, and p value = 0.001. And also, there is a relationship between the availability of fasility with counseling action table 4, and p value = 0.0001. Based on the results of the study, expected to Dinas Kesehatan in Jember district and Sumbersari Health Center work together to improve cadres knowledge through the efforts of cadres training provided to volunteers. Dinas Kesehatan in Jember district is expected to provide fasility of counseling means used by the cadre of doing counseling during that session. In addition, the cadre should also be active in efforts to broaden horizons and increase their knowledge, especially in counseling in the table 4 on posyandu activities.
