PENGARUH DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP SELF EFFICACY PASANGAN USIA SUBUR (PUS) UNTUK MENJADI PESERTA KB BARU METODE KONTRASEPSI MEDIS OPERATIF WANITA (MOW) (Studi di Desa Sukogidri Kecamatan Ledokombo Kabupaten Jember)
Abstract
Tubectomy is a method of contraception by doing surgery which is a permanent state
that can not be recovered unless using the recanalization operation. Jember regency
has the achievement for a new family planning participants tubectomy in East Java
province, which was during the last three years did not reach the target of
tubectomy. Ledokombo Subdistrict is a district that in the last five years has the
lowest achieving of new family planning participants tubectomy in Jember. While
Sukogidri is one of the villages in the district of Ledokombo that in the last 5 years in
a row achieved 0 acceptors of new family planning participants tubectomy and only
has achieved 2 acceptors of an active family planning participants tubectomy which
was the lowest in Ledokombo. Since the tubectomy is a permanent method of
contraception therefore needed a confidence of the individuals. Individual selfefficacy
can be influenced by the social support. High social support will cause high
self-efficacy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of social support
toward self-efficacy of fertile couple age to join in the new family planning method of
tubectomy in Sukogidri, Ledokombo Jember using the analytical method with cross
sectional approach . The data was collected through interviews to 87 respondents
who are fertile couple age in Sukogidri, Ledokombo, Jember District. The results
showed that the husband support has p value = 0.0001, the community support has p
value = 0.157 and the support of Sub PPKBD cadre has p value = 0.0001. Based on
these results it can be concluded that social support affects self-efficacy fertile couple
age to become party in the new family planning method of tubectomy in the
Sukogidri, Ledokombo, Jember is the support of her husband and the cadre support
of Sub PPKBD.
