FAKTOR - FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKTIVITAS TENAGA KERJA PENGRAJIN GUCI MARMER DI KECAMATAN CAMPURDARAT KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the effect of age, education level, working period and marital status on the productivity of workers. Another aim is to know the variable which has the most dominant effect on the productivity of the craftsmen of marble jug in District of Campurdarat Regency of Tulungagung. This research is explanatory descriptive that is one which is aimed at knowing the relationship of two or more variables. This research will describe the variables having effect on the productivity of the craftsmen of marble jug in District of Campurdarat Regency of Tulungagung. The data used in this research is primary taken by giving questioner to respondents chosen randomly. From the analysis it is known that in general the effect of independent variables, that are age, education level, working period and marital status on the productivity of craftsmen of marble jug as dependent variables which are shown by determination coefficient R 2 of 82.6 %, the rest of which 17.4 % is influenced by other factors beyond this analysis. The independent variable having the most dominant effect on the productivity of the craftsmen of marble jug is shown by the highest partial correlation of 0.815 of the variable working period. The conclusion of this research is that the more working period of marble jug craftsmen is the more productivity is. In general, the productivity of marble jug craftsmen is influenced by the working period and marital status while the age and education level have little effect.
