This paper presents the results of the seismic site response studies in Surabaya. Ground response were analyzed using one dimensional approach utilizing soil profile, bedrock level and other geotechnical properties of subsurface. Using collected Standard Penetration Test (SPT) data along with the available geotechnical properties, an equivalent linear analysis was performed by means computer program EERA. The inputs for the analysis, especially shear wave velocity, were estimated using existing correlation with field and laboratory data. The response analysis results shows that amplification factor vary from 4.5 to 6.5 and peak ground acceleration fall in the range of 0.1 to 0.35gen_US
