This study explores Islamic senior high school students' perceptions of using audiovisual media in listening classes. Addressing the gap in research on students' views in this context, the study aims to understand how audiovisual tools influence engagement and comprehension. Utilizing a descriptive design, thematic analysis identified key themes: increased engagement, improved comprehension, positive and negative attitudes, technical and practical challenges, and suggestions for enhancement. Findings indicate that audiovisual media enhance student interest and learning outcomes, though technical issues and accents pose challenges. Overall, students view audiovisual media positively, recognizing its role in making learning more interactive and effective. These insights suggest the need for high-quality content and technical improvements to maximize the benefits of audiovisual tools in language education.en_US
