dc.description.abstractThe lack of student understanding in physics material resulted in students getting lower physics scores compared to several other subjects. The cause of low student understanding in learning physics was due to the inaccuracy in the implementation of learning models. Poor student learning outcomes or lack of responsiveness in the learning process arose from a lack of interest in participating in physics learning. To increase student involvement and maintain the diversity of models in the teaching and learning process, various learning models were needed. The combination of the Snowball Throwing model and PhET simulation provided a more interactive and in-depth learning experience for students. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the snowball throwing cooperative model assisted by PhET on learning outcomes and learning responses of high school physics students. This research used a type of quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The results of this study showed a significant increase, indicated by the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 in the physics learning outcomes of high school students using the snowball throwing cooperative model assisted by PhET simulation. Additionally, there was a significant difference in student responses between the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group showed better learning responses compared to the control group. This indicates that students' responses showed a significant improvement in learning.en_US
