dc.description.abstractBiology learning used to tend to be teacher-centered, causing students to be less active and appear less enthusiastic. Factors that influenced students to become less enthusiastic and bored in learning were poor learning environment conditions, educators providing monotonous learning, learning conditions that were only supervised in the classroom, and a lack of recreational activities. This research aimed to find out: 1). The influence of field trip learning using the Plant Net application on understanding concepts in the Spermatophyta material. 2). The influence of field trip learning using the Plant Net application on students' naturalistic intelligence regarding Spermatophyta material. This research used a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study was class X students consisting of 8 classes at SMAN Pakusari, Sumber Suko Village, Pakusari District, Jember Regency, East Java Province. The samples obtained through random selection were class X.2 with 37 students and class X.3 with 37 students. The results of learning using the field trip method with the Plant Net application on students' conceptual understanding showed a significance figure of 0.029. With an average score of 62.16 for the pretest and 86.05 for the posttest for the experimental class. Meanwhile, the control class showed an average score of 56.51 for the pretest and 79.95 for the posttest. Because the value was far below 0.05, HO was rejected. So there was an influence of the field trip learning method on students' understanding of concepts. The results of the field trip method research using the Plant Net application on naturalistic intelligence yielded a significance value of 0.961. With an average score of 72.51 for the initial questionnaire and 74.86 for the final questionnaire in the experimental class. Meanwhile, the control class showed an average score of 69.03 for the initial questionnaire and 73.70 for the final questionnaire. Because the significance value was above 0.05, HO was accepted. So it could be concluded that there was no influence of the field trip method with the application of Plant Net on students naturalistic intelligence.en_US
