dc.description.abstractScience has become a field that can be associated with creativity. The results of The Global Creativity Index in 2015 show that Indonesia is ranked 115th out of 139 countries in terms of creative thinking ability. The low ability of students to think creatively is caused by the failure of teachers to improve students' creative thinking abilities. Therefore, students need to be equipped with teaching materials that are able to support the level of creative thinking abilities, namely with learning modules. This research aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of developing a module based on creative problem solving on vibration and wave material to improve students' creative thinking abilities. This type of research uses the ADDIE development design, consisting of 5 stages including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The data collection techniques used in this research are validity data analysis techniques using validation sheet instruments, practicality data analysis techniques using implementation observation sheet instruments, effectiveness data analysis techniques using tests in the form of pretest and posttest, as well as with a student response questionnaire instrument to determine the effectiveness of the product based on responses from students who have used creative problem solving-based modules. Based on data The research results obtained can be concluded that the module based on creative problem solving on vibration and wave material to improve students' creative thinking abilities at school shows results in the valid, very practical and very effective categories.en_US
