dc.description.abstract | The formulation of the problems in this study are (1) the background of the company and workers in the Bobbin Industrial Unit, Jember Regency; (2) What are the socio-economic dynamics of the workers in the Bobbin Industrial Unit in Arjasa District, Jember Regency, 1997-2020. The purpose of this research is to find out the background of the establishment of the Bobbin Industrial Unit and to describe the socio-economic status of the Bobbin Industrial Unit workers in Arjasa District, Jember Regency in 1997-2020. Bobbin Industrial Unit workers experience various dynamics which include change, development, repetition, and continuity which include: 1) Changes in the socio-economic status of workers occur in the area around the company where before there was a business industry, the people around the Arjasa sub-district were only farming, but after there is an industry, the types of businesses are becoming increasingly diverse; 2) There has been a development in the income of the Bobbin Industrial Unit workers given to workers which always increases every year; 3) Repetition occurs in the work and production system of workers working in the Bobbin Industrial Unit, both permanent, contract and seasonal workers; 4) Continuity occurs between laborers or workers on the plantations of Kertosari Jember and Ajung Gayasan as providers of tobacco to be produced, and the Bobbin Industrial Unit as managers of tobacco into cigars. | en_US |
