The purpose of this research to investigate how the mathematical problem-solving abilities of VIII grade junior high school students in the material of Linear Equations Systems with Two Variables (SPLDV) are viewed from the perspective of Self Regulated Learning. This research is essential to understand how students' problem-solving abilities are greatly influenced by their individual self regulated learning. This type of this research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects consist of VIII grade students, with 2 students selected from each category of self regulated learning. Analysis is carried out by administering self regulated learning questionnaires, test items, and conducting interviews to elicit statements from students and to gather data that cannot be accurately obtained from test results alone. Findings reveal that students with different categories of self regulated learning exhibit varying levels of systematic problem-solving abilities. Thus, it is concluded that students' problem-solving abilities are significantly be affected by their individual self regulated learning.en_US
