dc.description.abstract | Diphtheria is a disease caused by Corynebacterium Diphteriae. Tackling disease
diphtheria in Indonesia especially in Jember district in East Java province was
carried out by the implementation of Sub PIN diphtheria. This study aims to
analyze the factors associated with diphtheria immunization target on the
implementation of the Sub PIN Jambearum work areas of Sumberjambe Health
Center, Jember in 2012. This study is an observational study with an analytical
approach by using a retrospective cohort study design. The sample in this
research is the implementation of the target Sub PIN 2012 in Jambearum by 95
goals. Data were presented using tables and analyzed using somers'd with a
significance level of 5% (α = 0,05). The results showed that there is a relationship
between predisposing factors including knowledge, education, economics, trust,
enabling factors including Sub PIN care facilities, and reinforcing factors
including support immunization workers, and support a family with diphtheria
immunization target on the implementation of the Sub PIN 2012 in Jambearum. It
is recommended for the clinic of Sumberjambe and local health officials in order
to carry out a thorough health education in each village, conduct regular
evaluation of the implementation of the immunization program, and training of
