| dc.description.abstract | Safety has become a global issue, including for hospitals. There are five important
issues related to safety at hospital namely: patient safety, worker safety or health,
the safety of buildings, and equipment in hospitals that could have an impact on
patient safety officers, safety of the environment that have an impact on
environmental pollution and safety business hospital associated with hospital
survival. Five safety aspect is very important to be implemented in each hospital.
But it must be admitted the hospital institutional activities can work if there is
patient. Therefore, patient safety is a top priority to be implemented and it was
related to the issue of the quality and image of the hospital. this type of research
was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The number of informants
in this research was six informants, who were taken using purposive sampling.
The data collection method used was in-dept interview, observation, and
documentation. Then the data reached were analyzed and its validity was
examined using triangulation technique. The results of research that al huda
hospitals have implemented patient safety standards in all hospital units. so far
the need for improvement. Based on the results of the study, the hospital is
expected to be detailed in the identification of patient safety. patient safety risk
assessment, management of patient safety, reporting and analysis of patient
incidents, the ability to learn from the incident, follow-up and implementation of
