Dinamika Ekonomi Nelayan Pesisir Lekok Kabupaten Pasuruan Tahun 1980-2009

Abstract

This study discuss about the socio-economic life of Lekok coastal fishermen since the implementation of blue revolution policy in 1980-2009. The aims of this study were to (1) describe the geographical and socio-economic conditions of Lekok coastal fishermen, Pasuruan Regency in 1980; and (2) analyzing the dynamics of the economic life of Lekok coastal fishermen in Pasuruan Regency in 1980-2009. This research method uses history consisting of five stages, namely topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography (Kuntowijoyo, 2013: 69). The results of the study show that since the implementation of the Blue Revolution policy in Lekok beach since 1980, it has been the beginning of the modernization of fishing gear and boat motorization which has caused changes in the socio-economic life of Lekok fishermen in terms of income.
