PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN, PENGALAMAN KERJA, DAN KOMUNIKASI, TERHADAP KINERJA SEKRETARIS PADA HOTEL BERBINTANG LIMA DI BALI
Abstract
Kinerja Sekretaris merupakan hal penting dalam mengimplementasikan sebaikbaiknya
suatu
wewenang,
tugas
dan
tanggungjawabnya
dalam
rangka
pencapaian
tujuan
tugas
pokok profesi
dan
terwujudnya
tujuan
dan
sasaran
unit
organisasi.
Tujuan
penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) Pengaruh
pendidikan terhadap kinerja sekretaris (2) Pengaruh pengalaman kerja terhadap
kinerja sekretaris (3) Pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kinerja sekretaris (4)
Pengaruh pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja sekretaris (5)
Pengaruh pendidikan dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja sekretaris (6) Pengaruh
pengalaman kerja dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja sekretaris (7) Pengaruh
pendidikan, pengalaman kerja dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja sekretaris.
Populasi penelitian ini adalah: Sekretaris Hotel berbintang lima di Bali
sebanyak 98 orang, jumlah Hotel Berbintang Lima sebanyak 50 tercatat mulai
Tahun 2009. Sampel sebanyak 98 orang terdiri dari Sekretaris Ekskutif dan
Sekretaris Departemen seperti Sekretaris: Enginering; House Keeping; Food &
Beverage; Front office; Human Resources; Sales; Keuangan/Finansial dll. Lokasi
Penelitian terdiri dari Kotamadya Denpasar, Kabupaten Badung, Kabupaten
Tabanan, Kabupaten Gianyar, Kabupaten Karangasem. Metode analisis yang
digunakan: Analisis Statistik deskriptif, dan Analisis Statistik Inferensial.
Hasil analisis data menyatakan secara parsial maupun secara`bersama-sama
berpengaruh positif, dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Sekretaris yaitu: (1) Pendidikan
sebesar 76,8 persen dan sig. t 0,000 < alpha 0,05 (2) Pengalaman kerja sebesar 67,5
persen dan sig. t 0,000 < alpha 0,05 (3) Komunikasi sebesar 68,2 persen, dan sig. t 0,000
< alpha 0,05 (4) Pendidikan dan Pengalaman Kerja sebesar 61,2 persen dan sig. F 0,000 <
alpha 0,05 (5) Pendidikan dan Komunikasi sebesar 59,1 persen dan sig. F 0,000 < alpha
0,05 (6) Pengalaman Kerja dan Komunikasi sebesar 52,7 persen dan sig. F 0,000 < alpha

0,05 (7) Pendidikan, Pengalaman Kerja dan Komunikasi sebesar 61,3 persen dan sig. F
0,000 < alpha 0,05 sedangkan sisanya sebesar 38,7 persen dijelaskan oleh variable lain.
Simpulan: (1) Implikasi yang dihasilkan baik secara teoritis maupun praktis.

SUMMARY
The Influence of Education, Work Experience, and Communication, on the
Performance of the Secretaries Working In Five - Star Hotels in Bali, Kasiani

The performance of Secretary is very important in implementing the
authority, duty, and responsibility well to achieve the main task of profession and
to realize the goals of the organizational unit. The purposes of this research are
knowing and analyzing: (1) the influence of education on the performance of the
secretary (2) the influence of work experience on the performance of the secretary
(3) the influence of communication on the performance of the secretary (4) the
influence
of education and work experience on the performance\ of the secretary
(5) the influence of education and communication on the performance of secretary
(6) the influence of work experience and communication on the performance of
the secretary (7) the influence of education, work experience and communication
on the performance of the secretary.
The population of this research is the Secretaries working in five-star
hotels in Bali. It consists of 98 Secretaries, who became the`samples of this
research as well. Those Secretaries may belong to executive secretaries or
deprtment secretaries. The given sample is the same in the amount of the
population comprising 98 secretaries. This research conducted in Bali covers
namely Denpasar, Badung, Tabanan, Gianyar, and Karangasem . The methods
used in this research are descriptive and inferential statistical analysis.
The analysis shows that there is positive and significant influence, among
them, comprising: (1) education: 0,768 and sig.t 0,000 < alpha 0,05; (2) work
experience: 0,675 and sig t 0,000 < alpha 0,05; (3) communication: 0,682 and sig.t
0,000 < alpha 0,05; (4) education and work experience: 0,612 and sig. F 0,000 <
alpha 0,05; (5) education and communication: 0,591 and sig. F 0,000 < alpha

0,05; (6) work experience and communication: 0,527 and sig. F 0,000 < alpha
0,05; (7) education, work experience and communication 0,613 and sig. F 0,000 <
alpha 0,05. The rest are 0,387 which are explained by other variables. It can be
concluded tha the result is good theoretically and practically.
