Pengembangan Media Gambar Seri Berbasis Kearifan Lokal pada Materi Menulis Karangan Narasi Siswa Kelas IV SDN 2 Temuguruh Banyuwangi

Abstract

Writing is a basic thing that students must have. The purpose of this study was to determine the media development process and to determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of picture media series based on Banyuwangi local wisdom. This research uses the type of research and development (Research and Development) by Borg and Gall. The place for conducting this research is at SDN 2 Temuguruh Banyuwangi in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The media development process is carried out through 8 stages, which include preliminary research, product development planning, initial product design development, product design validation, initial product design revisions, use trials, product design revisions, and effectiveness trials. The validity of the media gets a score of 91% (very feasible), the effectiveness of the media gets a score of 92% (very effective), and the practicality of the media gets a score of 90% (very practical). Based on these scores, it proves that Banyuwangi local wisdom-based picture series media is valid, practical, and effective to use.
