Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Website Berbasis Google Sites pada Bab 5 Materi Kerajaan-kerajaan Nusantara Kelas IV SDN Kepatihan 01 Jember

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing google sites-based website learning media in chapter 5 of the archipelago kingdoms material, and to determine the validity, effectiveness, and practicality of google sites-based website learning media in chapter 5 of the archipelago kingdoms material. This research was conducted at SDN Kepatihan 01 Jember in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The use of instructional media is expected to increase students' understanding of the material being taught, so that learning objectives can be achieved. Learning in the independent curriculum in elementary schools (SD) changes science and social studies subjects to natural and social sciences (IPAS) subjects. This study uses the research and development method by Borg and Gall. The data collected came from interviews with teachers and students, validation questionnaire sheets, use trial questionnaire sheets, student response questionnaire sheets, and learning achievement tests. The validation results of the 3 validators, namely media, language, and material experts, scored 82.75, which are classified as very feasible to try out. The effectiveness results also show that the t-count value is greater than the t-table (15,611 > 2,004), with an effectiveness level of 71.99% belonging to the high effectiveness category. The practicality results show a score of 92.85% with a very high effectiveness category. Based on these results it can be asked that the google sites-based website learning media in chapter 5 material for the kingdoms of the archipelago is very feasible, effective, and practical for students to use.
