Crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus von Marten) is a species that a member of freshwater crustacean group. Recently demanding the crayfish tends to increase for both national and international markets (5.175 tons/year). However, crayfish famers still have problems to cover the market, mainly due to cost unit for crayfish feeding that need almost 60% total cost for crayfish culturing. In other hand, Indonesia as a tropical country have a lot of potential feeding sources which available in abundance and very cheap, such as maggot flour and mealworm flour, besides fishmeal as a common source that usually used in pellet feed formula. Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pellet feed made from a fishmeal, mealworm flour and maggot flour based on the growth of Cherax quadricarinatus, and to determine the best growth of the crayfish. This research is quantitative research using laboratory experimental methods and applying a completely randomized design. The research design used 1 control (fishmeal based), treatment 1 (fishmeal and mealworm larvae flour based), and treatment 2 (fishmeal, mealworm larvae flour, and maggot larvae flour based), which was each treatment using 3 replications. The growth parameters were carapace length, wet biomass, dry biomass, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and feed utilization efficiency (EPP). This research was conducted in the zoology laboratory, Biology Education Study Program, FKIP, University of Jember. During February to March 2023 the result shows that the feed treatment using fishmeal, mealworm flour and maggot meal has the best effect on the growth of Cherax quadricarinatus, that was 0.212±0.069 gram/4 weeks for dry biomass 0.6891±0.22 gram/4 weeks for wet biomass and 1.832±0.39 cm/4 weeks for length of carapax growth. The results of the feed analysis showed that the treatment of pellets based on fish flour, mealworm flour and maggot flour had no significant effect on FCR (p=0.173) and EPP (p =0.241).en_US
