Sikap Kemandirian Wanita Pemilik Industri Rumah Tangga Kerajinan Handycraft Di Desa Balung Tutul Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

This study aims to describe the independent attitude of women who own handicraft home industries in Balung Tutul Village, Balung District, Jember Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The collection method used is interviews and documents. The analytical method used is data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data validity. The results of this study indicate that the independent attitude of women who own handicraft home industries in Balung Tutul Village, Balung District, Jember Regency is seen based on several aspects, namely, responsibility, autonomy, high work ethic, initiative, and self-control. The attitude of responsibility possessed by the owner of the handicraft home industry is in a good category. The attitude of autonomy has a less category. The attitude of a high work ethic has a good category. Initiative attitude has a good category. While the attitude of emotional control also has a good category. This means that only the attitude of autonomy has a less category because the owners of the handicraft industry still have to make loans to get capital. This is related to financial autonomy.
