Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat Mengenai Pertolongan pada Kecelakaan di Daerah Black Spot Kabupaten Bondowoso

Abstract

Bondowoso Regency has a location that is often called the Black Spot, due to the high number of accidents that occur there. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach with a total sample of 84 respondents. This research was conducted using a questionnaire on the level of public knowledge regarding first aid in accidents and also a questionnaire on the characteristics of the respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of public knowledge about first aid in the black spot area of Bondosowo Regency is in a good category, namely 46 people. The majority of respondents aged 36-45 years have sufficient knowledge about first aid. namely as many as 18 people, as many as 28 women have sufficient knowledge about first aid and as many as 23 people whose last education is high school have sufficient knowledge about first aid.First Aid in Accidents is an action that is carried out at the scene that is carried out by anyone before medical personnel comes to help. First aid is carried out to save lives by not adding to casualties. The First Aid dimension consists of the dimensions of understanding, objectives, principles, and steps.
