dc.description.abstractThe rapid development of infrastructure in Indonesia triggers the need for concrete materials which are increasingly running out. Therefore, a replacement material is needed so that the use of conventional concrete materials is not excessive, one of which is shellfish as a substitute for coarse aggregate. In this study, there are 72 specimens were made with a size of 150 x 300 mm divided into 3 tests with a concrete quality plan of f'c 30 MPa. Shells are divided into 5 variations of shells as much as 1.75%, 2%, 2.25%, 2.5%, 2.75% and also normal concrete. In the compressive strength & modulus test of 38.39 MPa and 29119.03. For testing the split tensile strength of concrete, the highest value was obtained at substitution of 2% with a split tensile strength of 3.41 MPa.en_US
