dc.description.abstractThis research is aimed to know whether there is a difference of performance between syariah banks and conventional banks with CAMELS method, which uses all of CAMELS part and part by part of ratios in CAMELS part. CAMELS part is a Capital, Asset Quality, Management, Earning, Liquidity, and Sensitivity to Marke Risk. This research is a empiris study at BUMS in Indonesiawhich uses purposive sampling method in choosing the samples from population of BUMS. Data analysis method is uses deskriptif statistic, data normality test, and hyphotesis test with Independent Sample T Test for normal distribution data or Mann Whitney Test for not normal distribution data. Analysis result show that there is not difference of performance between syariah and conventional banks by uses all of CAMELS part. That there is a difference from analysis result in part by part of ratios in CAMELS part between syariah and conventional banks in CAR, KAP, NCM, and S.en_US
