dc.description.abstract | An increase in total cholesterol levels of >200 mg/dL can lead be for stroke. If the cholesterol levels >200 mg/dL will be causes in blockages due to the accumulation of cholesterol fat plaques or atherosclerosis and will be cause ischemic stroke. If the atherosclerosis to be continues, can be rupture of blood vessels in the brain and the causes in a hemorrhagic stroke. Method: This study was conducted by researchers using the literature review methode. Article searches were performed using Sciendirect, Pubmed, Google Scholar, and Sage Journal. This article is limited to searches for 2017-2022. The type of article method that contributed to this research study was a cross sectional and Cohort study. Results: A total of 10 articles were reviewed in this study. The results of the literature review showed that the lowest total cholesterol level in the incidence of stroke was 128 mg/dL and the highest total cholesterol total level was 342 mg/dL. Most the total cholesterol levels in the incidence of stroke are in the category of high total cholesterol levels (>240 mg/dL). Factor affecting of total cholesterol levels in the incidence of stroke are the age of >40 years old and most occur in the female. Conclusion: Total cholesterol levels in stroke accident most in the category of high total cholesterol levels (>240 mg/dL). | en_US |
