T. Bio Inti Agrindo is engaged mainly in the agro-industrial business. The main commodities managed by PT. Bio Inti Agrindo is palm oil. To support all activities and transportation needs as well as the needs of loading and unloading products and basic needs in the plantation area, PT. Bio Inti Agrindo plans to develop a terminal area, especially in Asikie Village, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency, Papua Province. The purpose of this study is to plan land preparation which includes the equalization of the river lip (cut and fill), and the strengthening of upright slopes. The leveling of the river lip along the area uses a sheet pile strengthening method which can later expand the port terminal area and increase mobility around the terminal, especially on the river bank. Factored moment method is used to design the retaining wall so that the required depth is economic yet safe to use. After the required depth is acquired, the next step is to model the retaining wall in Goe 5 software to acquire the safety factor. Once the safety factor already satisfy the minimum safety factor requirement (>1,5) we then model the retaining wall in Plaxis 2D to get the immediate settlement of the backfill. Once the safety factor and settlement of the designed retaining wall has satisfy the requirement, we can then continue to calculate the required material for the designed reinforcement. Based on the results of this planning, the 370m long earth retaining wall uses 162 pieces of double VL603 profiles, and 162 RR1000 profiles. The depth required to obtain a safety factor value > 1.5 is 8.20m. Settlement that occurs on the backfill is only 0,86cm, that value already satisfy the maximum allowable settlement acording to SNI (<15cm). The total cost required for the retaining wall is Rp 3.951.055.960,00.en_US
