Analisis Timbulan, Komposisi dan Pengelolaan Sampah Domestik Saat Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi di Desa Tambahrejo Kecamatan Candipuro Kabupaten Lumajang)

Abstract

All villages in Candipuro Sub-district, Lumajang Regency, have not had a program related to collaboration with the Environmental Service in collecting household waste, one of which is Tambahrejo Village, both before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on Perbup Lumajang No. 58 of 2018 article 5 paragraph 1 that in 2018 to 2025, Lumajang Regency has a target of reducing household waste by 2022 by 26% and a target of handling household waste by 73%. This study aims to analyze the generation of domestic waste, the composition of domestic waste, and the management of domestic waste during the Covid-19 pandemic in Tambahrejo Village, Candipuro District to support the Lumajang Regency's policy and strategy programs in the Management of Household Waste and Similar Household Waste (JAKSTRADA) in the Regency of Lumajang. This type of research is descriptive observational with cross sectional design. The data collection technique for measuring waste generation and composition refers to SNI 19-3964-1994, interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the average weight of domestic waste in the village of Addrejo produced is 0.32 kg/person/day and the average volume of waste is 3.42 liters/person/day. Meanwhile, the potential for waste generation with household criteria where family members are conducting School From Home is 168,101.32 kg/day; 46.11% is dominated by organic waste; Waste reduction was carried out by 4.72%; Waste handling is done at 4.7%.
