Gambaran Manajemen Pelaksanaan Vaksinasi COVID-19 pada Lansia di UPT PSTW Bondowoso

Abstract

The COVID - 19 vaccination is very much needed by the elderly so that the elderly have immunity to prevent illness due to COVID - 19 . Various declines in the condition of the elderly body will have an impact when the COVID - 19 vaccination is carried out so that the provision of this COVID - 19 vaccination must be managed properly so that the COVID - 19 vaccination has optimal COVID - 19 vaccination achievements in the elderly . This study aims to obtain the value and meaning of the implementation of COVID - 19 vaccination in the elderly at UPT PSTW Bondowoso . This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a phenomenological descriptive design . The data collection method was carried out by interviewing according to the guidelines " Buku Saku Tanya Jawab Seputar Vaksinasi COVID - 19 ( 2021 ) " guidelines . The participant selection technique used is non - probability sampling with purposive sampling type . The participants in this study were the vaccination committee who worked as health workers from UPT PSTW Bondowoso according to the inclusion criteria . Data analysis using collaizi technique . Saturation was obtained from the three participants in this study . The findings of this study revealed four important themes : preparation for COVID - 19 vaccination in the elderly , COVID - 19 vaccination personnel in the elderly , implementation of COVID - 19 vaccination in the elderly , and post - COVID - 19 vaccination in the elderly . The conclusion of this study is that the management of the implementation of COVID - 19 vaccination in the elderly is in accordance with the Nursing Management guidelines and procedures for the implementation of the COVID - 19 vaccination flow from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020 and 2021. Health workers are expected to be able to apply nursing management guidelines in the implementation of subsequent vaccinations .
