dc.description.abstract | This research is aimed to describe the vocational high school students’ critical thinking skills in solving SPLTV problems reviewed from auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning styles. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 9th-grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Tekung, Lumajang. The subjects were chosen based on the result of the learning style questionnaire analysis. The research subjects consisted of six students, two students for each learning style. The research data were taken from critical thinking test questions and interviews. The aspects of critical thinking skills in this research were aspects of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. This research showed that students who learned using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles had different critical thinking skills. Students with a visual learning style were able to fulfill aspects of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, explanation, and self-regulation. The aspect of inference had not been able to be fulfilled by visual students. Students with an auditory learning style were able to fulfill aspects of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and explanation. Aspects of inference and self-regulation have not been fulfilled by auditory students. Students with a kinesthetic learning style were able to fulfill aspects of interpretation, analysis, and evaluation. The aspects of inference, explanation, and self-regulation had not been fulfilled by kinesthetic students. However, all students have the potential to enhance their ability to solve mathematical problems with the result that students are able to obtain excellent critical thinking skills. | en_US |
