dc.description.abstractThis classroom action research was intended to improve X PAI 2 students’ reading comprehension achievement by using comic book. According to preliminary study that was conducted in the form of interview, the teacher informed that X PAI 2 students’ ability in reading comprehension was still low. Because of the students’ weakness in comprehending the text, they always lack of knowledge and it made them difficult to get the point of the information in the text. It could be seen from the total number of students who passed the minimum score was 12. Moreover, the teacher also added that the reading material that he used only provided text which did not raise the students’ curiosity and it made the students bored and lest motivated in reading. In order to solve these problem, the researcher used comic book as media to improve students’ reading comprehension achievement.en_US
