    Abstract
Introduction: Non-compliance of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients in undergoing anti-diabetes therapy is a common thing. However, if T2DM patients do not use therapy correctly it will cause various problems such as uncontrolled blood glucose, hyperglycemia, and can be lead to macrovascular complications. Aim of this study is to describe correlation of anti-diabetic therapy non-adherent in type 2 diabetes mellitus patient and hypoglycaemia experience. Methods: Literature review using 3 databases (ProQuest, Pubmed, and Google Scholar), previous research using meta-analysis and systematic review research design, randomized, cohort, cross-sectional, and incidence published from 2018 to 2020. Diabetes mellitus type 2 and synonim, non-adherence therapy and synonym, and hypogly* and synonym used for keyword. Result and Analysis: 13 literatures are included according to the inclusion criteria in this study. Of the 13 literature, 2 studies discussed hypoglycemia, 3 studies discussed treatment adherence, and 8 studies discussed both. The majority of study designs from the literature were crosssectional and cohort. 9 literatures is cross-sectional and 2 literatures use cohort design. The average number of research samples is more than 20,000 respondents. Discussion and Conclusion: Hypoglycaemia is closely related to patient noncompliance with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Hypoglycemia can be the cause of nonadherence to therapy type 2 diabetes mellitus patients, it is because patient has had hypoglycaemia experience, scared those experience happen again. In other hand, hypoglycaemia can become an acute complication for patients who are not adherent to treatment. It is happen when patient duplicate the dosis and overuse taking antidiabetic therapies.
