Abstract

This research analyzes The Representation of Sadism through Christian Grey in E. L James‘ Fifty Shades of Grey. The term sadism is represented in the novel because of the author's dissatisfaction with the sex story in the novel Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. This novel has inspired by the author to create ―Grey‖ as a sadistic character in her novel.
