Abstract: Berdasarkan analisis struktur melalui spektra FTIR menunjukkan bahwa semua kitosan dengan berbagai variasi berat molekul memiliki puncak spektra khas yang sama. Kitosan dalam variasi berat molekul rendah (KR), berat molekul medium (KM), dan berat molekul tinggi (KT) memiliki presentase muatan NH2 yang berbeda. Presentase muatan NH2 memiliki urutan sebagai berikut KT > KM > KR.
