Abstract: | This Study Develop a flow system method for the analysis of HMF in honey. The materials used in the study included 5-hydroxymethil furfural, barbituric acid, p-aminobenzoic acid, carrez I, carrez II, HCl, aquadest, pure honey samples taken from Seputih Mayang Jember village and brand A honey samples. The method used is multi commutation flow injection analysis with UV-Vis spectro detector. The multi commutation flow injection analysis method use a three way selenoid valve wich is used to drain the HMF standart solution and also the sample. Solution injection can be done simultaneously, the tree way valve selenoid valve is controlled by a Lb-View that has been programed on a computer. The computeris connected to Arduino Uno and rellay that is usefull for opening the selenoid valve cover. The results of the analysis showed good results as seen from the value of R2 = 0,9965, sensitivity of 0.036 absorbance/ppm, limit detection 0,2 ppm, repetability less than 2%, and recovery test for honey sampel brand A 104% while the sample of pure honey is 113%. The level of HMF in the sample was 10,6 mg/kg while the honey brand A 13,5 mg/kg according to BSN, the honey used was of good quality. |
