Abstract
Teachers are key in optimal learning where teachers play a role in selecting media and learning models. The purpose of this study was to improve the activities and learning outcomes of grade V students on Theme 2 Clean Air for Health by applying the Project Besed Learning (PjBL) learning model assisted by video media at SD Negeri 1 Kedunggebang, Banyuwangi. This type of research is class action research using the stages of PTK research stages with preliminary stages, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The subjects contained in this study are class V with 17 students. Based on the results of data analysis, the preliminary activity was 43%, cycle I was 53.3% and cycle II was 70.6% so that it increased. The average score of preliminary learning outcomes was 67, cycle I decreased to 66.6 and cycle II increased to 77. Based on these activities and learning outcomes, it can be concluded that the application of the video-assisted PjBL model can improve student learning outcomes on the theme of clean air for health in class V of SD Negeri 1 Kedunggebang
