Pengembangan e-LKM Statistika Konteks Kopi Banyuwangi untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

Abstract

Statistics learning in schools is still dominated by routine problem-solving activities, resulting in students' limited mathematical problem-solving skills Therefore, innovative learning materials are needed to connect statistical concepts with real-life situations. This study aimed to develop a statistics electronic student worksheet (e-LKM) using the Banyuwangi coffee context to improve students mathematical problem-solving skills. The e-LKM was dexeloped by integrating the principles of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) into contextual learning activities. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects of this study were eighth- grade students at MTsN E Jember. The developed e-LKM obtained an average validity score of 3.91, indicating that it was highly valid, while the practicality test showed a score of 88.47%, categorized as practical. The effectiveness test demonstrated ar improvement in students' mathematical problem-solving skills with an N-Gain score of 0.31, which falls into the moderate category. These findings indicate that the developed e-LKM is valid, practical, and effective in supporting meaningful statistics learning by relating statistical concepts to the local context of Banyuwangi coffee processing.
