Abstract
Project-based learning is a learning strategy that involves students actively in learning. This learning model is a model that meets the criteria for 21st century education, namely that it can improve students' creative thinking abilities through the projects they undertake. The background to this research is that based on the results of observations and interviews with class V teachers at SDN Semboro 04 Jember, it is known that students still have low creative thinking abilities, especially students who are less active in learning, do not pay attention to the teacher's explanations when learning, are shy about when you want to ask a question, and the questions given by the teacher are too monotonous and there is a lack of good habits for students so that students can answer questions with variety so that they are unable to improve students' creative thinking abilities. The aim of the research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of the diorama media-based learning model on creative thinking abilities in class V students at SDN Semboro 04 on food chain material. The type of research used is experimental research with a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pattern. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and tests. Based on the results of the data obtained and testing, it is known that this research shows the influence of the project-based learning (PjBL) model based on diorama media on the creative thinking abilities of class V students at SDN Semboro 04 on food chain material.
