Analisis Prioritas Pengembangan dan Pengelolaan Jaringan Irigasi Dengan Metode Multiple Attribute Decision Making di UPT Sumbersari Daerah Irigasi Kertosari Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

Jember Regency has rice as its leading food crop commodity. However, rice production in Jember Regency has fluctuated from 2019 to 2024. Another problem is related to several issues in management, especially in the process of providing water resources. Considering the above problems, it is necessary to pay attention to the proper and correct management of irrigation networks. This study aims to determine the priorities for the development and management of irrigation networks using the Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method, namely SAW, WP, and TOPSIS. Four irrigation networks were analyzed, namely Pakusari, Wirolegi, Wirowongso, and Ajung. Five criteria were used, namely the condition of the primary and tertiary irrigation network infrastructure, water availability, service area, and crop productivity. The data was obtained through field observations and interviews with relevant institutions. The results of the MADM method showed a consistent order of priority, with the Wirowongso irrigation network as the first priority. This study recommends routine maintenance and sustainable periodic maintenance
