Abstract

Human resources are a valuable asset for organizations or agencies, especially agencies that deal with science and technology. There needs to be more attention to human resources in agencies that oversee science and technology. Agencies related to science and technology, such as the Department of Education, must continue to develop and provide good performance. The Sumenep Regency Education Office is the agency tasked with serving and overseeing the implementation of learning activities in schools in Sumenep Regency. Of course, the role of human resources is of special concern. This phenomenon is reflected in the performance of employees. This research aims to find out and analyze whether transformational leadership style, motivation and work environment have a partial and significant effect on employee performance at the Sumenep Regency Education Office. Explanatory research research with a sample of 68 employees taken based on the employee's status as a civil servant. Data analysis uses SPSS 25 software. The data type is quantitative with data sources using primary data obtained from questionnaires and interviews, as well as secondary data obtained from books, journals, official agency websites and library studies. The research results show that: 1) Transformational Leadership Style partially has a significant effect on the performance of Sumenep Regency Education Office employees. 2) Motivation partially has a significant effect on the performance of Sumenep Regency Education Service employees. 3) The work environment partially has a significant effect on the performance of Sumenep Regency Education Service employees. 4) Transformational Leadership Style, Motivation and Work Environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.
