Evaluasi Tingkat Kematangan Proses Bisnis menggunakan metode BPOMM (studi kasus: Perusahaan Unggas)

Abstract

PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera (SMS) Farm Pasarejo is a broiler chicken farming company that has experienced depletion rates exceeding the company's maximum standard of 4%, with some poultry houses reaching more than 12%. This condition indicates the need for an evaluation of the company's business process maturity. This study aims to measure the business process maturity level of PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera (SMS) Farm Pasarejo using the Business Process Orientation Maturity Model (BPOMM) and to formulate appropriate improvement recommendations. This study employed a quantitative approach using a total sampling technique involving all 27 employees of the company as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires based on the nine dimensions of BPOMM, namely strategic view, process definition and documentation, process measurement and management, process-oriented organizational structure, people management, organizational culture process, market orientation, supplier view, and information system support. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics through mean score calculations to determine the company's business process maturity level. The results showed that all research instruments were valid and reliable. The business process maturity level of PT. Semesta Mitra Sejahtera (SMS) Farm Pasarejo was classified as Linked with a score of 6.23. This result indicates that the company has implemented process management aligned with strategic objectives and established effective cross-functional coordination. However, the aspects of market orientation and process documentation still require improvement. Therefore, the proposed recommendations focus on enhancing market research activities, strengthening business process documentation, and developing continuous process evaluation and improvement systems.
