The Paris Agreement encourages participating countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and international cooperation mechanisms under Article 6. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Paris Agreement related to carbon markets in Indonesia. The research applies a qualitative method using a literature review approach by examining international agreements, Indonesian regulations, government reports, and academic journals. The findings show that Indonesia has developed several carbon market instruments, including carbon trading regulations and carbon economic value policies. However, the implementation process still faces various obstacles, such as regulatory inconsistency, limited institutional capacity, and difficulties in measuring emission reductions. The study concludes that stronger governance, transparent monitoring systems, and international cooperation are essential for Indonesia to effectively utilize carbon markets in achieving its climate commitments under the Paris Agreement.
