Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education learning due to the lack of variety of learning media used. This study aims to determine the development process, validity, effectiveness, and practicality of learning videos based on the Inshot application on the Pancasila Education subject Unit 2 Constitution and Norms in Society for grade IV of elementary school. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model which has 10 stages, but in this study only 8 stages were used. The subjects of the study consisted of 50 grade IV students of SDN 4 Bagorejo who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection methods used interviews, observations, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results of media validation from three validators obtained an average score of 84.66 (very feasible). The effectiveness of the media was measured through the pretest and posttest results of students in the experimental and control classes, indicating that Inshot-based video media was more effective. The results of the relative effectiveness test showed a percentage of 60.4% (moderate effectiveness). Practicality based on the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 87.2 (very practical). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Inshot application-based learning video is valid, effective, and practical to use in the learning process.
