Abstract
Mathematical representation skills needed to be developed because a good
understanding of concepts through visual, symbolic, and verbal representations
made it easier for students to solve problems. The developed e-LKPD was an
electronic worksheet designed by integrating mathematical representations (visual,
symbolic, and verbal) into each learning activity. The development of interactive
technology-based learning tools was implemented to improve students'
mathematical representation skills. This study aimed to produce a Polypad-assisted
e-LKPD that was valid, practical, and effective in improving the mathematical
representation skills of phase D students on prism material. This study was a
research and development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which included
the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The
research was conducted at MTsN 2 Jember in the even semester of the 2025/2026
academic year with one of the seventh-grade classes as the subject. The research
instruments included validation sheets, pretest and posttest questions, as well as
student and teacher response questionnaires. The results showed that the e-LKPD
obtained an average score of 3.74, which was in the valid category. Student and
teacher responses showed average percentages of 81.45% and 86.11%, which were
categorized as practical. The effectiveness of the product was shown by an N-Gain
value of 0.3, which fell into the moderate category, indicating an improvement in
students' mathematical representation skills after using the Polypad-assisted e
LKPD, and thus it was considered feasible for use in mathematics learning on prism
material.
