The Effect of Drip Irrigation Intervals and Goat Manure Application Rates Using the Aerated Compost Tea Method on the Growth and Yield of Kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala); Kemas Muhammad Dwi Kurniawan, 221510501104; 2026: pages; Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jember. Conventional irrigation systems that waste water and the excessive use of chemical fertilizers are major challenges in modern horticultural crop cultivation. This study aims to determine the effects of drip irrigation intervals, doses of Aerated Compost Tea (ACT) made from goat manure, and the interaction between the two on the growth and yield of kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala). The study was conducted at the Agrotechnology Greenhouse of Jember University from November 2025 to January 2026. The method used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two treatment factors: drip irrigation intervals (A1: 200 ml, A2: 250 ml, A3: 300 ml) and ACT dose (B1: 0 ml/week, B2: 250 ml/week, B3: 500 ml/week), resulting in 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications. Data were analyzed using a 5% significance level ANOVA and DMRT post-hoc tests. The results showed that drip irrigation interval had a significant effect on kale canopy area, with the highest value observed in treatment A1 at 48.39 cm². ACT dose had a significant effect on the Shoot Root Ratio (SRR), with the highest value observed in treatment B2 at 14.23. The interaction between drip irrigation interval and ACT dose also had a significant effect on SRR, with the best combination in treatment A3B1 yielding a value of 15.28. The variables of plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and root volume did not show significant differences among treatments.
