ABSTRACT “Nursing Care of a Patient Nutritional Deficits (Tuberculosis) With Moringa Local Food Nutrition Therapy at Sekargadung Community Health Center Working Area Pasuruan City” By: Lembayung Saniyyah Marinabiillah Background: Nutritional deficits in pulmonary tuberculosis patients worsen clinical prognosis due to systemic hypermetabolism and ATD side effects, prompting the use of moringa and ginger as economical complementary interventions based on local wisdom. Method: A descriptive qualitative case report involving one participant (Mrs. M, 59 years old) through interviews, clinical observation, and medical documentation across three home visits, with SIKI-based nutritional management and moringa-ginger composite tea twice daily, at least two hours after ATD consumption. Results: Nutritional status improved with a 0.04 kg weight gain, BMI increase from 15.6 to 15.7 kg/m², meal frequency of four times per day, and reduced nausea and early satiety. Family self-sufficiency increased from 60% to 90%, and patient anxiety decreased from scale 6 to 3. Conclusion: Moringa and ginger-based nutritional therapy proved safe, economical, and effective as a complementary intervention for tuberculosis patients. Long-term sustainability and strengthening family roles are recommended to achieve optimal nutritional normalization.
