Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of readiness of Sumberejo Village to become a Destana and to review the existing social network structure to assist in village development using the Social Network Analysis (SNA) approach. This study examines the extent of disaster risk and the readiness of Sumberejo Village to become a disaster-resilient village, analyzes the existing social network using SNA, and determines the appropriate strategic direction to be used through SWOT IFAS EFAS. The assessment results show that Sumberejo Village has a high risk of disasters such as tornadoes and tsunamis, and the village's preparedness is in the Primary Disaster Resilient Village group with a score of 30. In addition, SNA analysis shows a low level of community participation. The density and centrality values in the network were in the low to moderate category in various hamlets, reflecting a lack of comprehensive connections among stakeholders within the village. Meanwhile, the key institutions identified included the Village Government as a formal institution and religious institutions as non-formal institutions. The proposed development strategy based on the SWOT analysis includes encouraging collaboration in disaster resilience activities between institutions by utilizing government support, optimizing the role of key actors in disseminating information and simulations of disaster resilience efforts, encouraging collaboration between formal and non-formal institutions to support disaster resilience activities, utilizing government support to improve all aspects of disaster resilience in the village, and enhancing tourism to support the progress of Sumberejo Village
