Abstract
This study analyzes and improves the order recording process at CV. Megah
Gypsum using a Business Process Management (BPM) approach with the ProductBased Design (PBD) method. Data were collected through semi-structured
interviews, direct observation, and document review. Root Cause Analysis with
Pareto and Fishbone diagrams shows that the main problems arise from the
absence of standardized procedures and the lack of an integrated digital order
recording system, which causes incomplete specifications, undocumented revisions,
and data inconsistency. The business process was redesigned using PBD, producing
a To-Be model of an integrated digital order recording process, modeled in BPMN
and simulated in Bizagi Modeler. Simulation results show that average processing
time decreases from 9 hours 17 minutes 30 seconds to 5 hours 46 minutes 33
seconds, accompanied by a more balanced workload among divisions. The study
concludes that applying Product-Based Design and an integrated digital recording
system can improve efficiency, data accuracy, and coordination in the order
management process at CV. Megah Gypsum.
