Abstract

Business competition in the current era is quite tight. To win the market, a business uses various methods to sell its products. One of the main strategies in competing is to maintain product quality. Product quality has become the main thing for all business activities. One of these companies, namely CV. Paving Prima. This company is located in Banyuwangi Regency and has been established since 2014. CV. Paving Prima is a company that produces paving blocks. In producing its products, this company always prioritizes product quality, this is also the key to the company's strategy in competing in the market. This research aims to find out how quality control of paving block products is implemented by CV. Paving Prima Banyuwangi. Knowing that product quality is important for a company's reputation, researchers want to know how companies maintain the quality of their products. The method in descriptive research uses a qualitative approach, namely describing in-depth interviews and direct observation in the field. This was done to obtain more valid information and data obtained from informants. Quality control carried out by CV. Paving Prima is by creating quality standards for every production process. These standards range from the materials used, labor, machines and tools, and the manufacturing process, to the final stage, namely checking the quality and distribution of the product. The results showed that product quality control in handling damaged products is carried out at all stages of production, namely from the input, process, and output stages
